Katie Price to be dropped from Sky Living

Reports claim that Katie Price will not have her contract with Sky Living renewed.

Tabloid newspaper claims that Sky Living will not be renewing Price’s contract when it runs out.

The glamour model and businesswoman was poached by Living – as it was then known – in 2010 in a deal worth £5 million. Price had previously been signed to ITV2 where her series What Katie Did Next – following the model after her spilt from husband Pete Andre – drew 1 million viewers per edition.

However, when the series moved to Sky Living and was renamed Katie; it failed to take all the viewers with it – figures dropped to around half of what they were on ITV2.

As well as continuing to be the focus of her own fly-on-the-wall series Katie Price has also fronted several other shows for Sky Living. The latest series, Signed by Katie Price launched with just 130,000 viewers.

Price’s deal with Sky Living is due to end in November but before then there will be another series of Katie as well as one final series as yet un-named production fronted by the businesswoman.
