Former child actors come together for video opposing Kirk Cameron

A group of former child actors from the 1980s and 90s have come together for a spoof video opposing Growing Pain’s actor Kirk Cameron and his comments regarding homosexuality. In March the conservative Christian actor Kirk Cameron appeared on Piers Morgan Tonight on CNN in which he made several controversial remarks regarding homosexuality.

Cameron labelled homosexuality as “unnatural“, “detrimental” and “ultimately ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization“.

Kirk Cameron’s comments unsurprisingly led to a backlash from fellow celebrities and gay rights organisations. The actor was later critical of chat-show host Piers Morgan regarding the interview – not something the British journalist took lightly and quickly fired back over.

Well now a group of former child actors, including Christine Lakin and Kenn Michael, have filmed a spoof video titled CCOKC – Child Celebrities Opposing Kirk Cameron. The video – originally posted on Funny or Die – outlines the celebrities opposition to Cameron’s comments and calls for the LGBT community to be accepted by society.

You can watch the video below but please be aware it does contain some strong language and references of a sexual nature.
