Christine Estabrook returning to Desperate Housewives
They’ll be another blast from the past for the residents of Wisteria Lane as it is reported that Christine Estabrook will return.

{jcomments on}According to The Hollywood Reporter the actress will return to Desperate Housewives for its two-hour finale in May. Estabrook played nosy Wisteria Lane resident Martha Huber for 11 episodes in the first season of the ABC comedy drama. Martha certainly had a way of getting on the wrong side of her neighbours such as Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher) – Martha blackmailed Susan over her accidental burning down of Edie Britt’s (Nicollette Sheridan) house.
The character was killed of during the course of the first season by Paul Young (Mark Moses) when he discovered that Martha had been sending threatening anonymous letters to his wife Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong) which caused her suicide in the pilot. Martha’s murder led to the introduction of her sister Felicia Tilman (Harriet Sansom Harris).
Christine Estabrook is not the only actress returning for the series finale; Dana Delany will also reprise her role of Katherine Mayfair in the two-hour finale.
