The Voice and Smash ratings drop to season lows

Ratings for a string of shows, such as The Voice, Smash and How I Met Your Mother, dropped to season lows on Monday evening.

At 8pm NBC‘s The Voice won the hour in terms of 18-49 viewers even though its 3.6 rating represented a season low. However, its total viewers figure of 9.9 million was beaten by ABC‘s Dancing with the Stars which had 16.3 million viewers but a much lower 2.8 18-49 figure. How I Met Your Mother on CBS also dropped to a season low with 7.2 million viewers and a 3.0 rating followed by 2 Broke Girls with 8.4 million viewers and a 3.3 18-49 rating. Fox‘s Bones dipped to a season low of 6.9 million viewers with a 2.1 rating while Gossip Girl on The CW had 1.1 million viewers with a 0.6 rating.

At 9pm Two and a Half Men on CBS pulled in 11 million viewers with a 3.7 rating followed by Mike & Molly with 9.5 million and a 3.1 rating. The final season of House on Fox continued with 5.6 million viewers with a 2.0 rating while The CW’s Hart of Dixie had 1.3 million viewers and a 0.6 rating. At 10pm Castle on ABC mustered 11.4 million viewers with a 18-49 rating of 2.2 while musical comedy Smash dropped to 5.9 million viewers with a 1.9 rating.
