Philip Schofield and Julie Etchingham reunite for Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

ITV have announced Philip Schofield and Julie Etchingham will present their live coverage of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

The pair proved popular with viewers on ITV 1 during the live coverage of the royal wedding between Prince William and Catherine Middleton last year. Experienced ITV News reporters will also be at the centre of the coverage on Tuesday 5th June.

Alastair Stewart, Mary Nightingale, Mark Austin, Nina Hossain and Natasha Kaplinsky will be based at key procession points on the way from Buckingham Palace, along The Mall to the service of thanksgiving at St Paul’s, reporting live as the nation celebrates sixty years of our Monarch on the throne. James Mates will lead the ceremonial commentary of events.

“ITV will give viewers a close-up view on a great day of national celebration. We’ll aim to capture the national mood as millions of people across the country toast the Queen’s 60th anniversary on the throne. People enjoyed our coverage of the Royal Wedding and we hope they’ll join ITV again for the Diamond Jubilee procession and service of thanksgiving.” – Michael Jermey, ITV’s Director of News & Current Affairs

On the 5th June, Daybreak will begin live coverage of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations at 6am. Philip and Julie will then present live from outside Buckingham Palace from 8.30am – 4.00pm.
