Britain's Got Talent ratings overtakes The Voice

Britain’s Got Talent out-rated BBC rival The Voice on Saturday evening.

According to overnight figures the latest episode of Britain’s Got Talent drew an average audience of 9.6 million viewers with an additional 490,000 watching via the time-shift channel which gives a combined audience of roughly 10.2 million viewers.
The Simon Cowell show peaked at 10.7 million viewers. BBC One rival The Voice meanwhile averaged 9.3 million viewers with a peak of 10.3 million viewers.
Elsewhere last night medical drama Casualty continued with 4.5 million viewers while BBC Two‘s I Love 1972 drew 2.2 million viewers at 9.30pm. New Scandinavian drama The Bridge continued on BBC Four with 780,000 viewers.
