Robbie Williams for Diamond Jubilee concert

Robbie Williams has confirmed he is to perform at the Diamond Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace.
The concert, which takes place on 4 June, will be held outside of Buckingham Palace. He joins a number of confirmed artists such as Sir Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder.
It was revealed that 1.2 million applications were made for the event, but only 10,000 are available to be allocated. The concert will be screened on BBC One and BBC Radio 2.

“If this doesn’t get me a knighthood, nothing will. I can’t wait for the show.” – Robbie Williams speaking on his official website.

A special stage will be erected near the Queen Victoria Memorial which is in-front of Buckingham Palace. In 2002, over 1 million lined the Mall during Party At The Palace, which acts performed in the garden of the palace.
