NCIS drops to season low

Crime drama NCIS dropped to a season low for CBS as did spin-off NCIS: Los Angeles while Fox’s musical comedy Glee returned to a season low as well.

Several shows hit new season lows last night and CBS drama NCIS was one of them. The drama pulled in 17.3 million viewers with a 3.1 18-49 rating at 8pm. While it was enough to win the slot in both total viewers and 18-49 viewers it still represented a season low for the drama. Glee returned from hiatus to Fox last night in an episode guest starring White Collar actor Matt Bomer but dropped to a new season low of 6.6 million viewers with a 2.7 18-49 rating. Glee was amongst the shows that Fox recently renewed. Elsewhere at 8pm NBC’s The Biggest Loser had 6.6 million viewers with a 2.2 rating while a repeat of teen drama 90210 on The CW was seen by just 760,000 viewers with a 0.3 rating. On ABC Last Man Standing had 6.7 million viewers with a 1.7 rating followed by Courtney Cox comedy Cougar Town with 4.9 million viewers and a 1.5 rating.

At 9pm The Voice on NBC attracted 8.8 million viewers with a 3.5 18-49 rating – winning the hour in that category. However, in terms of total viewers it was ABC’s Dancing with the Stars which win with 13 million viewers and a 2.3 rating. That 18-49 rating saw ABC tie with CBS as NCIS: Los Angeles dropped to a low of 12.8 million viewers with a 2.3 rating. Fox comedy New Girl was seen by 5.2 million viewers followed by Raising Hope with 3.9 million viewers and a 1.9 rating. Sarah Michelle Gellar drama Ringer on The CW had 1.2 million viewers and a 0.5 rating.

At 10pm Dana Delany drama Body of Proof had 10.1 million viewers with a 1.9 rating while Unforgettable on CBS had 9.4 million viewers with a 1.8 rating.
