Patsy Palmer and Lindsey Coulson to take break from EastEnders

EastEnders actors Patsy Palmer and Lindsey Coulson are to be temporarily written out of the BBC One soap.

The two actors will bow out of EastEnders for around six months over the Summer as Patsy Palmer has been granted time off to spend more time with her family. The temporary departure of actress Palmer will coincide with that of actress Lindsey Coulson but EastEnders bosses promise both actors will be back by the end of the year.

Bianca Jackson will exit the soap later this month as her struggle to provide for her family reaches its climax. The Mirror reports that Bianca will make her exit from Walford after an emotional showdown with mother Carol who decides to take her grandchildren away from London to life in the country.

‘Bianca’s emotional struggle for survival will grip viewers over the next couple of weeks. The explosive argument with Carol is sure to break people’s hearts as they realise just how close to the edge she is’ – A “source” speaking to The Mirror
