ABC'S Once Upon A Time To Return

ABC has ordered a second season of fairy-tale drama Once Upon A Time.

The fantasy drama has been a Sunday night hit for ABC – unlike fellow Sunday evening drama Pan-Am which crashed and GCB which has stumbled. Once Upon A Time has pulled in impressive ratings and won over critics as well. Therefore its hardly surprising that ABC has ordered a second season.

Once Upon A Time stars Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas and Robert Carlyle. It revolves around characters for fairy-tales, such as Snow White and Cinderella, who are trapped in the town of Storybrooke unable to leave and unable to remember who they really are. Their plight is because of a Dark Curse used by the Wicked Queen (Lana Parrilla) who is the town’s Mayor. However, the arrival of Emma Swann (Jennifer Morrison) to the small town slowly begins to undo the curse.

In the UK Once Upon A Time airs on Channel Five.
