Harry's Law Axed By NBC
David E. Kelly’s legal drama Harry’s Law won’t return for a third season after it was cancelled by NBC.
Series creator Kelly confirmed on Twitter that the drama starring Kathy Bates had been axed and would not return. The writer tweeted ‘Sad news today,” Bates tweeted. “Harry’s Law will not be renewed for a 3rd season. We are all terribly sad. Many thanks for all your support’
Harry’s Law was very much a “bubble show” though others were quick to write it off completely. The drama actually had decent ratings overall with an average audience of 8.8 million viewers. Ratings did though play a part in its cancellation because it had a poor 18-49 rating and unfortunately its that viewership that counts with broadcasters these days.
Another one bits the dust. I feel that they did pull the show down in the second season, felt it lost its way. So maybe not so surprised!
I’ve set up a Facebook Page to promote the resurrection of Harry’s Law. Anyone with an interest in promoting a renewal for Harry’s Law, come join our Facebook Page and let’s get this series back on Television!
