Secret Circle Fans Launch Campaign Website
Fans of cancelled CW drama The Secret Circle have launched a new website as part of their campaign to save the supernatural series.
The CW surprised many over the weekend when it renewed Maggie Q series Nikita for a third season and axed The Secret Circle. The outcome was starkly different to what many had predicted; cancellation for Nikita and renewal for The Secret Circle. After all the witchy drama, starring Thomas Dekker and Gale Harold, had posted solid ratings throughout its season and its pairing up The Vampire Diaries on Thursday evenings made perfect sense.
The CW’s decision to cancel The Secret Circle certainly didn’t go down well with its many fans who almost immediately leapt into action. The fans set up various petitions and Facebook groups to save the series. Many fans also posted many comments on ATV Today‘s story on the cancellation voicing their anger at the decision.
Now the fans have launched a website in order to co-ordinate the campaign to save the series and keep everyone updated. The website has links to the several petitions that have already launched and also info on how to contact broadcaster The CW.

I need this show :'( … Desperate housewives already ended and the circle was my consolation and now im left empty with tv shows, though true blood is coming and the borgias isn’t so bad and the v diaries is still good. But still please bring it back!!!!

I’m from “Down Under” and The Secret Circle has a huge amount of fans here too. It’s time those stupid TV execs were loyal to the people that give them their ratings in the first place.
