iTunes festival returns to Channel 4
The iTunes festival coverage will return to Channel 4 after being dropped by ITV2.
The return will see Channel 4 broadcast a variety of programmes, including live performances, across their main channels. The live performances will be on E4 and across the T4 strand along with artist specials on 4 Music. Channel 4 will air a preview show of what to expect for this year’s festival.
“We’re pleased to confirm that the iTunes Festival finally returns to Channel 4, its original home, for what looks set to be its strongest year yet. This September we’ll be bringing our extended coverage to C4, E4 and 4Music for its greatest volume of output, which combined with the exceptional A-List talent that iTunes delivers makes for a memorable September for music fans.” – Neil McCallum, Head of T4 & Music
The iTunes Festival comes from the Roundhouse in London this September and will feature performances from One Direction, Usher and Norah Jones. Princess Productions will once again produce the series for Channel 4.
