Devious Maids Heading To Lifetime?

Lifetime is reportedly in talks to pick up Marc Cherry’s pilot Devious Maids.

The pilot was based on the Mexican television series Ellas son la Alegria del Hogar and follows four maids with ambitions and dreams of their own but who work for the rich and famous of Beverly Hills. Devious Maids was previously in development for ABC and was seen by many as a likely candidate for pick-up by the broadcaster – but surprisingly it was not.

Entertainment Weekly report that Lifetime is now in talks to pick up Devious Maids though talks are only in the early stages and may come to nothing. The pilot for Devious Maids starred True Blood actress Mariana Klaveno, Anna Ortiz, Grant Shaw, Brianna Brown and daytime soap queen Susan Lucci.
