Brown and Osborne to appear at Leveson today
Chancellor George Osborne will appear at the Leveson Inquiry today at the start of a bumper week.
This week a variety of top current and former politicians will take to the stand and be quizzed at the Leveson Inquiry. Today it is the turn of chancellor George Osborne who was a key figure in the hiring of Andy Coulson, former Downing Street communications advisor, who had to resign following the phone-hacking fallout.
Former Labour Prime Minister Gordon Brown will also give evidence. He has levelled a number of allegations against News International over the last few years and many will be watching today to see if he reveals anything else.
Prime Minister David Cameron will give his evidence on Thursday.
