STV strengthens digital team with appointment of Michael McTernan

STV has signed up Michael McTernan for new digital media position.
STV has confirmed the appointment of Michael McTernan in the newly created position of Director of Digital Products. He will report to Alistair Brown, Chief Technology & Platforms Officer.
In his new position Michael will play a key role in the continued development of STV’s digital and future television strategy, as well as the delivery of STV content and services to audiences and consumers across all platforms.

STV has continued to grow online in recent years launching several news ultra local news websites as part of STV local. There are plans to continue to expand the service throughout other areas of Scotland.
