No New York Housewives Return For Jill Zarin

Bravo rules out Jill Zarin returning to the Real Housewives of New York City.

Fans of the Bravo reality series were hoping Zarin would return for the sixth season but as yet that doesn’t look likely to happen. Jill Zarin was let go from the Real Housewives of New York City at the end of its fourth season along with Alex McCord and Cindy Barshop. The trio were let go in order to revamp the reality series and draft in new “housewives” such as Heather Thomson, Carole Radziwill and Aviva Drescher.

Ratings for the fifth season have dropped though with the first two episodes falling by 21%. That prompted Jill Zarin to tell the Daily News “I’m happy that these new women are enjoying their fame; I’ve reached out and offered Bravo any support they need”. A Bravo rep told Entertainment Weekly “We wish Jill the best, but there is no consideration of her returning to the series.”
