Greg Davies to star in new BBC Three comedy

Inbetweeners actor Greg Davies will star in a new BBC Three comedy later this year.
He will star alongside Andy Samberg and Helen Baxendale for the six-part comedy series which sees he and his family deal with a new American son-in-law.
When Ken (Greg Davies) and Lorna (Helen Baxendale) collect their daughter (Tamla Kari) from the airport, they’re horrified to learn that she’s returned from her gap year with more than just a henna tattoo and braids in her hair. At the arrival gate, she promptly introduces them to her new husband, Cuckoo, played by Andy Samberg, – the squared-jawed, self-appointed spiritual ninja who is now their son-in-law.

“BBC Three continues to break new comedy. Cuckoo is both original and unique. We’re delighted to be announcing this exciting new sitcom with such an illustrious cast from two of my favourite new writers.” – Zai Bennett, BBC Three controller

Filming will begin this summer, being produced by Roughcut Television, and is expected to air in the Autumn.
