The drama, starring Katee Sackhoff and Robert Taylor, launched several weeks ago with an impressive 4.1 million viewers. The figure made Longmire A&E’s top-rated scripted premier debut ever. The drama has kept up its impressive ratings debut with an average of 3.9 million viewers for the episodes which have aired so far. However, the ratings actually rise to 5.3 million viewers when Live +7 data are added for the first two episodes.
Prior to the launch of Longmire actress Katee Sackhoff revealed she had auditioned for the lead role in ABC‘s fantasy drama Once Upon A Time – the part of Emma Swann eventually went to Jennifer Morrison. Sackhoff stated that Longmire and Once Upon A Time were the only two roles that interest her at the time.
