Russell Kane Quits I'm A Celebrity Spin-Off

Comedian Russell Kane has quit ITV2‘s I’m A Celebrity spin-off series.

After three years Russell Kane has decided not to return to the Australian outback for another series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here Now! The ITV2 series is a “behind-the-scenes” type of show which airs alongside I’m A Celebrity on ITV1. The series features clips from the main show as well as interviews with participants in I’m A Celeb both past and present.

“We have loved having Russell as part of the team for the past three series and we wish him all the very best of luck.” An ITV spokesperson quoted by The Sun

Russell Kane joined the presenting line-up of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here Now! in 2009 with Caroline Flack and Joe Swash. Flack left after the 2010 series and was replaced for the 2011 series by Laura Whitmore. Whitmore and Swash are both expected to return for the new series later this year.

Other presents of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here Now! over the years include Jeff Brazier, Kelly Osbourne, Matt Willis, Mark Durden-Smith and Tara Palmer-Thompkinson.
