Sean Kanan Leaving The Bold and the Beautiful

Sean Kenan has announced he will soon be departing CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.

It may feel as though Deacon Sharpe has only just returned to Los Angeles but actor Sean Kenan has announced he will soon be leaving The Bold and the Beautiful! The character of Deacon made his on-screen return to The Bold and the Beautiful last month after a seven year absence but the return is a short one.

“I want to thank all of you for your support. Returning to Bold was a great experience,. Apparently Deacon’s time there has come to an end” – Kenan on Twitter

Kanan first played Deacon Sharpe on The Bold and the Beautiful between 2000 and 2005. In 2009 he reprised the role but on sister soap The Young and the Restless. The two soaps have featured many crossover storylines and characters over the years most notable the deranged and dangerous character of Shelia Carter (Kimberlin Brown) who terrorised the Forrester family in Los Angeles and the residents of Genoa City.

Late last year the actor revealed he was being written out of The Young and the Restless making his on-screen exit earlier this year. It was then announced the actor would reprise Deacon on The Bold and the Beautiful.

A final air-date for Deacon has not been revealed.
