The Bold and the Beautiful Wins Award

CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful has once again won an award at the Monte Carlo Television Festival.

For a seventh year in a row the Los Angeles based saga won the International TV Audience Award in the Telenovela/Soap Opera category at the Monte Carlo Television Festival.

It is often said that the The Bold and the Beautiful is the most watched daytime soap opera in the world with an estimated daily audience of over 30 million viewers. The Monte Carlo award is determined by the sum ratings of the soap across 65 countries and five continents which seem to secure B&B’s title of the most watched daytime soap. Other daytime soaps with notable world-wide following include Australian sagas Neighbours and Home & Away and New Zealand medical soap Shortland Street.

To collect the award cast members Hunter Tylo, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, Scott Clifton and Bon Diamont were present.
