The Voice UK Live Tour Axed

The Voice UK live tour has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
The tour was due to begin this September in Bournemouth but due to poor ticket sales at a number of venues across the country organisers have decided to scrap the tour completely.

“Unfortunately, The Voice UK Live has been cancelled due to lack of ticket sales. Customers are advised to contact their point of purchase for ticket refunds.” – Statement

Leanne Mitchell won the first series on 2 June but her début song ‘Run To You’ failed to make it into the UK Top 40 singles chart. She was coached by Welsh singing legend Sir Tom Jones.
Ratings dived from 10 million down to a low of under 5 million during the live shows on BBC One. Despite the ratings drop and criticism a second series will air next year.
