Alexander Armstrong and Emma Willis to host Prize Island

ITV announces details of new game show Prize Island.
Alexander Armstrong and Emma Willis will host the new action game show set on a tropical Island. Contestants working in pairs will aim to uncover and win a number of prizes in four different rounds, with one pair leaving after each round.
The end game, Buried Treasure, will see the remaining contestants compete for a new car and £50,000 locked in the boot.
Emma Willis, who currently hosts Big Brother’s Bit On The Side has said she is ‘beyond excited’ to be one of the presenters. Alexander added that it’s the kind of show ‘every presenter dreams of’.

“I am beyond excited to be one of the presenters of Prize Island. It promises to be a show like no other where contestants win unbelievable prizes, and get to visit one of the most exotic and beautiful locations on the planet.” – Emma Willis.

The series was commissioned for ITV1 by Director of Entertainment and Comedy Elaine Bedell and Kate Maddigan, Commissioning Editor, Entertainment.  It will be made by Initial, an Endemol company and Executive Produced by Andy Rowe. The format was created by Richard Osman, Creative Director Endemol UK and will air in 2013.
