Nicholas Hoult turns down Skins return

Actor Nicholas Hoult has ruled out returning for the Skins finale next year.
The controversial teenage drama Skins, which broadcasts on E4, was axed earlier this year after a decline in ratings.
The final episodes due to air next year will feature a number of characters from all three series. Hoult, who played Tony in the original run has told The Sun he won’t be returning as he is busy with other projects.
“No, I’m not going to be doing it. I loved Skins but I don’t think I can fit it in. I’m filming Mad Max in Namibia, which will mean I’m away for ages.” – Hoult speaking to The Sun
The first series launched the career of Dev Patel, who went on to star in the award winning Slumdog Millionaire.
The American version of Skins, which aired on MTV, was also axed after one series. The show sparked outrage across the states, with most of it coming from the Parents Television Council.
