QVC gets the Trinny and Susannah treatment
In recent years they were the queens of fashion advice – and insults – on BBC One before a failed move to ITV. But now QVC is building on their 15 plus years experience of dressing British women with their first full clothing range, launching on the shopping channel this autumn.
Trinny and Susannah’s telly range is aimed to cater for women of all sizes and help them feel and look fabulous by what they wear. The duo, who have advertised Littlewoods clothing range most recently, are off on a new venture.
“The collection focuses on dressing women who are top heavy, bottom heavy or wish to minimise their tummies and features dresses designed to flatter and compliment each of these body types. Jackets also form a strong part of the collection, tailored to create shape and structure for the wearer, resulting in a beautiful female silhouette.” QVC state.
The former What Not To Wear experts will launch their new collection on QVC on Sunday 19th August using real QVC customers to model the range reminding viewers that this is a range made specifically with them in mind and highlighting the benefits of this carefully designed collection.
Trinny Woodall said, “We are delighted to be working with QVC, who have given us the opportunity to bring our Body Shape philosophy to this range.”
Trinny and Susannah love to make women feel better about themselves through the medium of the Make-Over. They teach women to learn to love themselves again from the outside in, to look better and feel empowered.
I watched Trinny & Susannah,on QVC with my Mum today, Viewers were told that products were designed for larger ladies!!! I am 41,a size 22, & 5’4″.I don’t understand why NONE of the models were + size except the 2 make over ladies who were both really tall!! also a lot of the dresses were very clingy so would show every bulge. I also thought the panelled dresses looked very hard to wear for someone of my shape; as I have a long body & 29″ leg, with an upper & lower tummy bulge. This means that I go in at the belly button level. Help & advice would be good as I have never found shops who cater for people like me!! not big boobs!
I really enjoyed watching Trinny and Susannah and think the fashion is fab albeit way out of my price range!!!.Its refreshing to see some different fashion ,however i feel I must mention the fact that both of them (T&S) both used the word “tits” on several occasions .Now this doesnt remotely bother me,I am very broad minded person and not easily offended by this type of language, however I would respectfully ask QVC to consider the fact that there maybe small children watching at this time of day and if my daughter had been exposed to this word when she was at home as a child I would have been totally horrified.I know the world and people in general are more tolerant today, myself included but feel this is only due to the fact that we are exposed on a daily basis to words which have a place,. but not when kids can hear them.Surely we dont want small children and even some less broad minded people to become totally desencitised as the rest of us. I am no prude far from it,just looking at this from others point of view or not as the case maybe.Thank you,Margaret Barker. Long time viewer and big QVC fan, dont let it slip please!!!!
Trinny and Tranny remind me to shop in Milan.
