Rolf Harris to front new animal show for Channel 5

Rolf Harris is to present his first major television show in years, overseeing a new animal show for Channel 5.

The Australian personality will present Rolf’s Animal Clinic from the University of Liverpool’s Vet School, The Independent reports.

“The series gets to the emotional heart of what it is to be a vet – from the drama of life-saving equine surgery, to how best to deal with an overweight pet. Having Rolf as the presenter is a fantastic addition to the series.” – Commissioning editor Ian Dunkley.

Channel 5 is expected to air the six-part series from October.
Rolf previously presented BBC One’s popular Animal Hospital from 1994-2004.
