'Chalky' to leave Waterloo Road

Maths teacher Daniel ‘Chalky’ Chalk will be leaving Waterloo Road next year, it has been confirmed.


The popular character, played by Mark Benton since May last year, will bow out partway through the current eighth series of the school drama.
The news first  broke on the show’s official Twitter account and was later confirmed by Digital Spy.
Waterloo Road continues tonight at 8.00pm on BBC One.
