Channel 4 commissions new dramas

Channel 4 has commissioned two brand new series from Skins creator Bryan Elsley and The Hour writer Abi Morgan.

Dates, by Elsley, will comprise of nine parts and will focus on the complexities of modern relationships.
Morgan’s new project, Home Before Dark, is a four-part thriller which follows the hunt for a killer across London, Italy and America, exploring the corrupting power of the internet.
The broadcaster has also commissioned a new historical drama by Peter Flannery entitled New World, the show is linked to Flannery’s 2008 mini-series The Devil’s Whore.
