Nikki Sanderson joins Hollyoaks

Former Coronation Street actress Nikki Sanderson has joined the cast of Hollyoaks, it has been announced.


Sanderson will play Maxine Minniver, sister of Mitzeee (Rachel Shenton) in the Channel 4 soap.
The character is described as a “confident, lively and flirtatious bombshell”, who can spot an opportunity a mile off.

Of her new role, Sanderson revealed: “Being a member of the Hollyoaks team has so far been an absolute pleasure, and I am excited about what the future holds for my character. I feel very lucky to be part of such a wonderful show and to be working with an amazing team.”

Sanderson is a well known face to soap fans, having previously played the role of Candice Stowe in Coronation Street between 1999 and 2005, as well as playing Dawn Bellamy in Heartbeat.
Maxine will make her Hollyoaks debut on Tuesday, November 6 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
