Emmerdale live ep date revealed

ITV have confirmed that Emmerdale’s 40th anniversary live episode will transmit on Wednesday 17th October between 7pm and 8pm.

A description of the episode reveals that “every aspect of life will be explored” as the episode features two weddings, the cries of two newborn babies, and the shock death of one villager in tragic circumstances.
Rehearsals for the live episode commenced yesterday, in total there will be 110 hours of rehearsals for the actors involved spanning over 11 days.
61 cast members are to take part in the episode, while 350 supporting actors will also be involved in the production.
Emmerdale turns 40 on Tuesday 16th October.
