Carolynne Poole first to leave The X Factor

Carolynne Poole has become the first act voted out of The X Factor.

Poole faced Rylan Clark in the sing-off after the pair polled the lowest number of votes from the public.
Poole performed Faith Hill’s ‘There You’ll Be’ in the sing-off while Clark sang Dreamgirls ‘One Night Only’.
Unsurprisingly Nicole Scherzinger and Gary Barlow both chose to support their own acts with Scherzinger opting to send home Poole whilst Barlow chose to send home Clark, Tulisa voted to save Poole leaving the casting vote with Louis Walsh. After some confusion, Walsh opted to send home Poole taking the vote to deadlock.
Host Dermot O’Leary announced that Poole had the lowest number of votes and would therefore be leaving the competition to a chorus of boos from the audience.

  • Typical Louis Walsh cannot see talent when its in front of his face. Gary is right this was a joke sending Carolynne home. Not to mention he first said he wanted to save her.
Louis you’re a joke and not suitable to be a judge as this is the typical rubbish decision you always make.
I can fart a better tune than Rylan. Come on X-Factor pull your finger out…
