ITV commissions new diving show

ITV has commissioned a new diving show which will see celebrities learn how to dive.

Celebrity Splash, based on Holland’s Sterren Springen, will feature professional coaches teaching celebrities skills including backflips, somersaults and diving with grace.
London 2012’s Tom Daley is being considered as one of the hosts of the programme.

“It’s going to be a hilarious show which will have it all – humour, hunks in trunks and gorgeous girls.
“We are counting on this to be a big banker for next year. Everybody loved Tom at the Olympics, and this could be the perfect vehicle for him. We hope it could be as big as Total Wipeout.” – ITV source speaking to The Sun

ABC recently picked up Celebrity Splash in the US.
