Hustle actors pick their favourite episode for Sony

Sony Entertainment Television is to air a back-to-back marathon of former BBC drama Hustle with episodes especially picked by the stars of the show.

Hustle is described as a slick, action-packed drama full of humour and intrigue, which follows master con man Mickey ‘Bricks’ Stone – actor Adrian Lester – and his team of highly skilled accomplices, including long running cast members Ash ‘Three Socks’ Morgan  – played by Robert Glenister – and Albert Stroller – the legendary Robert Vaughn – as well as Stacie Monroe  – portrayed by Jaime Murray -, Danny Blue  – actor Marc Warren and brother and sister duo Sean and Emma Kennedy  – actors Matt di Angelo and Kelly Adams. The gang group together and put their grifting skills to good use to liberate the cash from the amoral and undeserving, while heeding the credo “you can’t cheat an honest man”.

The special one-off Hustle Night will include 4 episodes picked from editions within series one to seven which were personally selected by the stars of the award winning British drama.

Episodes picked are Series One, The First Episode. This was picked by Robert Glenister who says of the episode,

“No one spoke for at least the first 7 minutes of the episode. Must be a TV drama first!”

Next up is Adrian Lester’s choice of episode two from series three, which includes Lester in a naked sprint across Trafalgar Square.

Episode four from series five has been picked by Kelly Adams who says of it,

“Being separated from the gang to fend for myself was great fun to play and nerve wracking. They brought a man in to teach me slight of hand for the diamond necklace and sewed a secret pocket in to my dress to hide it. It looked quite pro in the end”.

And finally Robert Vaughn chose series five’s episode four.
