Nicholas Lyndhurst joins New Tricks cast

Nicholas Lyndhurst is to join the cast of BBC One drama New Tricks, according to Radio Times.

Lyndhurst is expected to make his first appearance during the detective drama’s tenth series.

The actor  joins the popular BBC One series as original stars Amanda Redman and Alun Armstrong depart, following the previous departure of James Bolam (Jack Halford).
Lyndhurst is fondly remembered for his role as hapless Rodney in John Sullivan’s Only Fools and Horses, as well as appearances in time travel comedy Goodnight Sweetheart and Carla Lane’s Butterflies.
