Bussell to return to Strictly in 2013?
Darcey Bussell will reprise her role as a judge on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing next year, according to The Sun.
Professional ballerina Bussell joined the hit show as a permanent judge this series, having previously been a guest judge on the show in 2009, replacing Alesha Dixon who defected to ITV1’s Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year.
The Sun reports that Bussell had signed up for two series but there was a clause in her contract which would have allowed her to be dropped after one series, however an insider has claimed that Bussell will definitely be back next year after impressing the show’s producers.
The insider said: “Her first outing divided people, but she has grown into the role tremendously.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC1.
