Guiding Light’s Mosley and Saint-Victor become Bold and Beautiful
Actor Lawrence Saint-Victor and actress Karla Mosely, who were an on-screen couple in defunct saga Guiding Light, are to star alongside each other in long running glossy soap The Bold and the Beautiful.
The signing up of Mosley and Saint-Victor at the same time has been reported as ‘coincidental’ by America’s TV Guide magazine.
Karla Mosely joined Guiding light in 2008 as character Christina Moore who had an on-off relationship with Remy Boudreau played by Lawrence Saint-Victor. Remy was first seen on the soap in 2006. Both characters appeared on-screen right up until the end of the serial three years ago after 57 years on television.
Mosley will debut in The Bold and the Beautiful stateside on January the 17th playing Maya which the magazine describes as a former skid row resident, something shared with current character Dayzee Leigh Forrester played by Kristolyn Lloyd. Lloyd and Mosley’s characters have a past and the reunion is set not to be a happy one.
Saint-Victor’s character has yet to be named by producers publicly but is due to be first seen on the 29th of next month as the adoptive brother of Marcus Barber Forrester played by Texas Battle. The actor was said to be “very excited” by his latest soap role.
