Strictly offers of work for Lisa Riley?

Lisa Riley, Strictly Come DancingPress reports suggest the actress and presenter has been offered top jobs after her appearance on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing.

First it was reported the one-time You’ve Been Framed! presenter has been offered a role in a stage show directed and written by Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood. The theatre production, entitled Strictly Confidential, is to be  an autobiographical tale of the stars’ motivations during the television contest told through songs and dance routines. Revel Horwoods show will also star other faces and professional dancers from the Saturday and Sunday night telly favourite hosted by Sir Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly.

“It’s exciting to give fans an autobiographical take on this hit show, whilst also incorporating some of the show’s favourite moments. I’ve been working on Strictly Confidential for a while now and it’s a dream that everything is all coming together.” Craig told The Independent newspaper.

Elsewhere tabloids suggest ITV Yorkshire bosses have been impressed with the former Emmerdale actress they may consider reviving her character of Mandy Dingle.

A source told the Daily Star: “Lisa has been a huge hit on Strictly so it’s no great surprise Emmerdale bosses want her back. Mandy’s ex-husband Paddy Kirk is having marriage problems so it makes sense to bring back Lisa.”

Riley, who made it to the semi-finals of Strictly (pictured), has also appeared in dramas The Bill, Waterloo Road and Fat Friends. She last appeared in Emmerdale eleven years ago, having joined the dales saga in 1995.
