James Callis To Star In Arrow

James Callis is the latest guest star lined up for The CW‘s smash hit new drama Arrow.

TV Guide reports that the former Battlestar Galactica actor will guest star in a forthcoming episode of Arrow. The British actor will play ‘The Dodger’, an international jewel thief who forces innocent victims to part-take in his robberies. Callis will make his first appearance in Arrow early in 2013.

Callis is, of course, best known for playing Gaius Baltar in Syfy‘s ‘re-imaging’ of Battlestar Galactica. In recent years the actor has appeared in Eureka, Merlin, Flashforward and the British crime drama DCI Banks.

Arrow has signed number an impressive array of guest stars so far for its first season with Callis the latest. Other actors to have signed up for appearances include Kelly Hu (The Vampire Diaries), Colin Salmon (Hex/James Bond), Seth Gabel (Fringe), Ben Browder (Farscape/Stargate) and John Barrowman (Torchwood & Doctor Who).
