Kylie and Jason reunite especially for you

Sing like its 1988 again.

Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan have performed their hit song ‘Especially For You’ on stage for the first time in 23 years.

The Australian singers sang at the Hit Factory Live Christmas concert at London’s O2 Arena last night. The song reached number one in December 1988 and went on to sell over one million copies.

The concert was originally due to be staged in Hyde Park during the summer but wet weather seen the event cancelled. Last night’s get-together also featured Steps, Rick Astley and Sinitta.

Kylie and Jason became stars of screen initially in the UK thanks to Grundy soap opera Neighbours where the pair played on-screen husband and wife Scott and Charlene Robinson. While fans of the Aussie soap have longed for an on-screen reunion for Scott and Charlene it seems unlikely to happen any time soon.
