Derek Branning is well and truly stuffed this Christmas when he meets a grizzly end. Last week it was revealed that he was the mystery man that Kat Moon had been having an affair with. Wanting to take centre stage on the big day itself, Derek riles up his brothers Max and Jack during the dinner. True to form Derek over steps the mark and reveals Max’s dark secret, stunning his family. As Jack, Max and Derek’s son Joey throw Derek out of the house, what awaits for the bad boy of Walford?
Coronation Street (7.30pm ITV 1)

Many years ago Nick and Leanne were married, but a lot has happened since then. Christmas Day the pair look set to be married again, but with Leanne’s doubts over who she truly loves, will she once again become Mrs Tilsley? Leanne makes a dash for Peter’s flat on the day of the wedding, in her wedding dress – with Eva knowing all will she seize the opportunity to try and secure Nick for herself?
Emmerdale (5.30pm and 7.00pm ITV 1)

Cameron’s torment continues to haunt him after killing a villager who knew his secret – that he was the one that struck the fatal blow to Carl King. Wondering what to do with the fresh body, Cameron heads out to the woods where be digs a makeshift grave and dumps the body. With the body now buried, will his secrets stay buried for long?
