Danny Miller joins Scott & Bailey

Danny Miller has joined the cast of ITV detective drama Scott & Bailey.

The actor will play a new regular called Rob Waddington when the show returns for its third series.
Scott & Bailey follows DC Rachel Bailey (Suranne Jones) and DC Janet Scott (Lesley Sharp), two members of the Major Incident Team of the fictional Manchester Metropolitan Police. Filming commenced on the third series in November with the new episodes set eight months after series two.
Spooks star Nicola Walker and Coronation Street’s Tracie Bennett have also been confirmed to appear in the upcoming series.
Miller played the role of Aaron Livesy in Emmerdale from 2008 until 2012. The character faced struggles with his sexuality and was involved in a high profile assisted suicide storyline.
