Queen to deliver message in 3D

The annual broadcast, which airs later today at 3.00pm, was recorded in 3D for the first time earlier this month. The Queen is said to be ‘pleased’ with the message, which was produced by Sky News.
BBC, ITV News and Sky News royal correspondents were invited by the palace to screen the message in 3D last week.
The monarch’s message has been a tradition on Christmas Day since King George V in 1932 on radio before transferring to television in 1957.
The message is also screened across the commonwealth countries including New Zealand and Canada.
To view the message in 3D, viewers will need special glasses and a 3D compatible television.
