One Life To Live Revival Finds Showrunner
Prospect Park‘s planned revival of One Life To Live has found itself a showrunner.
TV Line reports that Jennifer Pepperman will serve as the new showrunner for One Life To Live while Ginger Smith has widely been tipped to serve as showrunner for All My Children, as we reported earlier.
Pepperman was co-ordinating producer on OLTL prior to its finale in January of this year. Pepperman also directed episodes of OLTL as well as CBS‘s As The World Turns – for which she won an Emmy award.
Readers may well remember that Prospect Park’s first attempt at continuing OLTL online had Frank Valentini and Ron Carlivati both continuing in the same roles they occupied during its run on ABC. However, once Prospect Park abandoned its original attempts at continuing OLTL they were moved over to General Hospital by ABC where they have successfully turned around the medical soaps fortunes.
Prospect Park originally had 13 actors signed up to continue in their roles; Erika Slezak, Melissa Archer, Kassie DePaiva, Michael Easton, Shenell Edmonds, Josh Kelly, Ted King, Florencia Lozano, Kelly Missal, Sean Ringgold, Andrew Trishchitta, Jerry Ver Dorn and Tuc Watkins. As yet there’s been no announcements regarding casting for OLTL‘s revival but several of the above actors have since crossed over to General Hospital, in the same roles, which may complicate matters!
