Jerry VerDorn Signs Up For One Life To Live Revival
Jerry verDorn has become the first actor to officially confirm his involvement with Prospect Park’s revival of One Life To Live.
The actor has confirmed via his Facebook page that he will reprise his role of Clint when One Life To Live returns for all new episodes on The Online Network. Earlier this month Prospect Park officially confirmed that OLTL and sister soap All My Children were returning with production due to start in February.
“Hello Everybody. ONE LIFE Lives. And good things come to those who wait. Or so it is said. About an hour ago I agreed to be part of the OLTL revival and I’m thrilled to be involved in entertainment history as the show we love moves to other formats. The fans consistent drum beat of support played a large part in Prospect Park never giving up trying to find a solution. And today they announced it to the world. With the cherry-on-the-top-news that Agnes Nixon has been hired as a consultant! For those who doubted, I don’t blame you as this has never been done before. For those who never lost hope and never stopped writing and calling, well, good things come to those who wait. Congratulations to you all. Welcome back to Llanview. Love, Jerry verDorn.”
While several All My Children actors have confirmed they are reprising their roles up till now no cast members of OLTL had confirmed their involvement. That contrasts with the Prospect Park’s initial attempt to bring back the soap when several actors signed up for the continuation. This time around though matters are slightly more complicated by the fact several actors have joined General Hospital in the same roles. Under Prospect Park’s licensing deal with ABC it has the rights to OLTL characters which could prove interesting for those who have moved over to General Hospital.
