Walking Dead Finds New Showrunner

Zombie apocalypse drama The Walking Dead, starring Andrew Lincoln, has found itself a new show-runner.

The fourth season of AMC’s ratings titan will be helmed by Scott Gimple according to The Hollywood Reporter. Gimple is currently one of the executive producers on The Walking Dead, having joined during the second season, and has also written a handful of episodes.

Glimple replaces Glen Mazzara who AMC felt needed replacing – The Walking Dead certainly makes its way through showrunners. Mazzara himself was a replacement for a previous show-runner, Frank Darabont. Scott Gimple may be wondering how long he will last before he is replaced…..
