Dominic Cooper cast as James Bond creator Ian Fleming

Sky Atlantic has cast Mamma Mia! actor Ian Fleming as James Bond author Ian Fleming in a new drama reports suggest.

The Radio Times reports that Dominic Cooper will take the lead role in the four-part drama which will chart the life of the 007 author. The latest Sky commissioned fact-based dramatisation is one of a number of home-grown productions the broadcaster has commissioned for 2013 including further episodes of Mad Dogs, a series of drama pilots and a reimagining of classic tale Dracula.

Programming will air across Sky Atlantic and Sky One.
