Heather Locklear Joins Franklin & Bash Cast

Former Dynasty actress Heather Locklear is to join the cast of TNT series Franklin & Bash.

TV Line reports that Locklear will join the cast of the TNT dramedy for its upcoming second series. The actress will play Rachel King; a stunning lawyer with ‘stiletto heels and impeccably tailored clothes. ‘

Locklear will be familiar to audiences for her role of Sammy Jo Carrington in Dynasty and Amanda Woodward in Melrose Place; both Aaron Spelling productions. Spelling joined the cast of Dynasty in 1981 during its second season and remained with the super-soap until its finale in 1989 and returned several years later for its reunion movie. In 1993 Locklear joined the cast of Melrose Place remaining with the soap until its demise in 1999. Locklear reprised her role for The CW’s short-lived revival in 2009 appearing in 8 episodes.

Locklear’s other notable roles include Spin City, Hot in Cleveland, Lax, Going Places and T.J Hooker. The actress is also part of the cast of Scary Movie 5 which is due out later this year.
