Former I’m A Celebrity contestant to replace Davidson on CBB?

The new series of the reality television programme has reportedly dropped comedian Jim Davidson at the last minute following his arrest yesterday. The controversial comedian was arrested by officers from Operation Yewtree on suspicious of sex abuse. He was later bailed by police.

Ruddock appeared on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004 alongside Katie Price and Peter Andre.

The new series, hosted by Brian Dowling, begins tonight on Channel 5 at 9.00pm and will open with a twist. Six celebrities will be making their way into the basement slum. Full details of what will happen are expected to be known during the live show.

Speculation about which Americans will feature in the show have been rife once again. Trouble actress Lindsay Lohan is reportedly due to take part in some form this series, but is due in court in the US on 15 January.

Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson made a short stay in the summer version of Big Brother in 2011.
