Soapnet is mark Valentines Day and the forthcoming 50th anniversary of General Hospital with a marathon of episodes featuring super-couples from the soap.
As the 50th anniversary of General Hospital fast approaches soapnet is set to mark the occasion, and treat fans, with a showing of episodes featuring super-couples from down the years. The episodes and super-couples will be picked by fans and will be broadcast on Soapnet on Sunday 10th February.
Fans of General Hospital already have the returns of actors Genie Francis, Kin Shriner and Jon Lindstrom to look forward to in the coming weeks as the countdown to the big 5-0 begins.

In anticipation of “General Hospital’s” upcoming 50th anniversary, SOAPnet is giving viewers an early Valentine’s Day gift with a romantic marathon featuring the series’ most beloved supercouples as voted on by fans. The five-hour special airs Sunday, February 10 at 7:00 PM ET/PT.
With nearly 37,000 individual votes tallied on SOAPnet’s Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/SoapNet) , the top five winners were picked from a list of 16 couples, including Alan & Monica, Dante & Lulu, Duke & Anna, Edward & Lila, Frisco & Felicia, Jason & Elizabeth, Jason & Sam, Jax & Brenda, Lucky & Elizabeth, Luke & Laura, Nikolas & Emily, Patrick & Robin, Sonny & Brenda, Sonny & Carly, Steve & Audrey and Stone & Robin.
